Culprit: Business Statistics data sets overview .ppt files for my homework assignments.

Problem: Office 2008 for Mac won't open Microsoft's own file formats more than 2 years old.

Solution: Mac QuickLook (spacebar preview) will show all pages of the .ppt file. Google Docs and Oracle's Open Office will convert to a variety of file formats, and Open XML Converter is apparently useful for coverting to .pptx as well.

Irony: Oh, nevermind.
