Friday, after surviving my first week in the world of Biosciences, I got a call from my old gal friend Susan. We worked together for a shoot about 8 years ago. Exhibit A:

She also happens to be married to Cole of Salinas Boys. Great builder. He was sick this weekend so Susie Q informed me to be ready at 6PM for the SOCIAL DISTORTION show at the Warfield. Not exactly how I thought my Friday night was about to go, but OK! What a fun night it turned out to be, thanks again!

These gals were too cute. And I can't believe a 12 year old asked me if I knew who Kid Cudi was. Why did this make me feel so old!??!?!

FINALLY got back to the hotel around 3, woke up at 8, hauled back to SJ (and miss Foster back to Monterey) - took a nap, then it was time to get ready for FTW Tattoo's 10 Year Anniversary Party. Man oh man downtown Oakland and Merchant's Saloon have changed so much since I left.. What the hell!

NINE YEARS AGO this dude gave me my first & second tattoos ever. YEAH SEAN! Congrats to you and Heather on your new baby girl! Strikeforce LUKE made an appearance later on, who gave me my third tattoos while sitting at FTW. I should really stop being a coward (calf hurts!) and have Luke finish my legs.
