SMASHVILLE (PART 1)

Here's the story of Nashville...

Bon Bon got married and I was a bridesmaid. We met 15 years ago, through a series of childhood tales I will save for another time, my friends.

I got drunk and he was my date

Her mom was there

A lot of this happened (sorryimnotsorry)

Beard Face at Doc Hollidays

Jack's BBQ WAS FUCKING EPIC. California really needs to step up its BBQ game

There were a few painted walls outside the hotel that were falling apart

We touched Elvis's piano at Studio B

San Jose was there n' stuff

There was obviously airport drinking... He's got a beverage here, man.

There were also neon signs

And this truck

And these feet

"I'd rather be at Brass Rail, I think that says a lot"

THE BEST STEAK YOU ATE IN YOUR GODDAMN LIFE. Well, the filet anyway, wrapped in bacon with a side of THE BEST SPINACH YOU EVER ATE IN YOUR LIFE, some shrimps, potatos and booze

HANKIII's first stage outfit (CMHoF)

Hank Sr's many guns and custom accessories were on display

Badassery

Cooler

Gangster

"BABE! GET THE SQUIRREL BAND! "

Williams Family Tradition exhibit was a good one

One of the many record walls at the CMHoF

Tons of early costumes. I took over 300 photos just inside the HoF and inside Studio B. Johnny's Man in Black suit was up, all the Williams' outfits, many of the 1930s-50s outfits that were SUPER shiny and colorful (with TV in color but still very rare in common households by the 50s-60s, the ornate designs and contrast helped translate over broadcast B&W television).

Lots of construction outside =(

Street art, I guess

More Neon

River shit. The first night we got back in town was the ONLY night they shut down the General Jackson show boat dinner cruise. I was so pissed. For an entire day. So we went down to the river anyway and just walked around.

Yep

Bon bon and her new hubby

The end.
