"Maybe she thought you looked like you needed to be saved."

Some random photos from NM & TX... Just got back into SFO tonight. I can breathe again. God Bless sea level. Also, the Department of State got me a Passport for Christmas! IT TOOK ONE WEEK! Last weekend I was at the Burbank main Post Office, this weekend I got a lovely care package with my Birth Certificate and pretty blue book. Also, I'm hungry.
Chopin: French for "hard to play."
This piano is older than you are
Stuff from grandparent's travels
I'm kind of in love with this couch
All festive and stuff
My grandparents get down with the get down
I'm sensitive and intellectual.
My grandma (dad's step mom) in her teacher yearz. So pretty.
Bet you didn't know Jesus was born on top of a Gift Shop.
Old Mesilla shops...
Birds don't know how to cook, THAT'S CRAZY.
I'm Brian Fellows.
La Posta has dope enchiladas. NM enchiladas are a little different than most places. But freakin good.
Gazebo in Old Mesilla
Stoked on my new watch, among other things.
My grandpa kind of plays tennis...
Kinda.
VS - Auntie Elaine... annual ping pong tournament...
... during which I discover I cannot simultaneously drink beer and play. Seriously. Most of it got on my sweater.
Went to my cousins' grandpa's bakery. Pan y pasteleria. I brought home a bunch of pink sugar cookies. Yum.
I got more prayer & saint cards next door at the Catholic store. The clerk woman gave me a Guadalupe pendant. She was really sweet. Walter said, "Maybe she thought you looked like you needed to be saved..."
You can smell Mexico from here. It's a sneeze away from the airport.
Sooo it took 11hrs of airport/delay/travel time but I got into El Paso around 1030 on christmas eve... Bout a 45min drive over the NM border to Las Cruces. Didn't go to mass with my mom's family there was a whole wierd vibe I'm not sure what's up... This morning my dad's parents were up and fire logs going by 8... Presents, etc. Everyone got some awesome stuff this family is always so good to eachother! Then I went to drop gifts off with my mom's brother. Had coffee, hung out with them & 2 of my cousins. I haven't seen my mom or other aunts & uncles yet except my dad's side... I hope it doesn't stay weird the whole time I'm here, I need to figure out what's up...
Anyway came back, ate some food took some fotoz, blah blah. Got sucked into this horrible Hallmark Original movie my grandma, aunt & I couldn't be pried away from, so we didn't go out to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button as planned because it was apparently 3 hours long and people were trying to meet people and etc. Found a marathon of old Simpsons episodes instead.
Tomorrow I gotta get up early for errands in Texas and be back for lunch at La Posta by 12ish. Yeah. CUZ I FUCKEN LOVE LA POSTA. Y'heard. [Post-Edit-Edit: La Posta was dope as always. Got a chain for my pendant from my dad's friend's jewelry store, as well as this fucking amazing, giant heart shaped silver ring, the bottom is stamped metal, the first stone heart is Gaspiete, the top inner heart is Spiny Oyster. It looks like a lot of the pounded tin sacred hearts, but it's Navajo and was made up in Gallop. It's freakin awesome. I like old Mesilla, it's so old-town-y hahhaa. I took some pics of the Gazebo everyone gets married in and San Albino church where the masses always are. Then I returned a Guess watch at the mall - it just didn't sit right. It's almost time for crazy family Trivial Pursuit shenanigans. My grandma & grandpa better be on separate teams, they're pretty much the smartest people in the whole universe so it's not fair if they're on the same team...]
Hope everyone is safe and with family, friends, or at least having a good fuckin time. Pics & stuff soon...
“Never take someone for granted, because you may wake up one day and realise you lost a diamond while you were too busy fuckin around collecting stones”--Paraphrase of a misquote, Anonymous
Got restless this weekend... Went down to the B to chill, do laundry and just generally not be here. Aired my brain out for a few days. Got some Hi-5s. Slept on a couch. Ate some food.
uh oh, not these dudes.
"They look like little space rockets!"
You like me to stroke you, careful I don't choke you...
... I'm losing patience now.
I have to say, Today was a good day. No, we didn't take the hollow points, they're more expensive duh.
Look, I'm an artist.
Since I'm asking so nice, would you just entertain...
Object in mirror is closer than it appearz. Going to LAGC. We were gonna go out to the private range at Desert Marksman but the CHP had closed down the roads that go out to Palmdale. There's all kinds of random stuff out there and you're not limited to straight indoor target style shennanigans...
What to do when you leave the key at home?! DOH! Major Palm -> Face right there.
Omar's Taurus PT145 was brand spankin' new so I did the honors... it ate about 5 rounds which we put in another gun & turned out they weren't dead... it just needed to be broken in. I ran 500 reloads through it, now I think he's gonna clean it, should mellow out a little.
Collecting shells... this ain't no fuckin beach?!?!?
New Dickies, old shoes.
This was only the 2nd or 3rd of the night. I was merely redecorating his internal organs. I had a pretty solid night as time went on though... It's a subcompact, fairly light but a .45 will still mess up my wrist a little...
I was in love a few times... nothing a couple clips couldn't fix...
Headed over to the Lodge, it was one of the Creeps' birthdays or somethin so it was time for some mayhem. This dude was super rad. Yes Man was filmed in here, so there were some chicks handing out random movie knicknacks and I think I have a bunch of Bigfoot matchbooks and notepads... RANDOM much?!
Aida in Full Effect.
Paulie is helping Omar "unwind."
Or something...
I live in the same damn area as Richie but I magically only see him in LA?! Where you been hidin' fool!
This squirrel was stolen so many times it was finally screwed to the log.
Omar's homie's family owns Mambo's on Victory in ... Burbank-ish. I pretty much ate Cuban food for 3 days straight. Go there if you're in the area. Like NOW.
Y'heard?
On the way back up I stopped in Arroyo Grande to see Stefani & Peter ... and finally met little Levi Cash. What a cutie pie, with the energy of a hundred dang two-year-olds. I haven't seen him since he was born so it was super awesome. You guys rule!
It was pouring rain from Salinas on upward... I got home around 6:30 after picking up dinner for the house... Time to watch Wired - Season 5 Disc 3. Hooray for Netflix. Got a fatty envelope from my lawyer, and a new AC Adapter for my scanner. Life stuff. You know, real exciting.
Here's some simple steps to being BORED OUT OF YOUR MIND for 8 hours...
Step 1: Get dressed for Julio's bday party at Uptown/Oakland. Got this dress in October as a backup for Halloween, if I couldn't find my corset. I found my corset, so I ended up saving the dress for SOTY. Decided it wasn't what I wanted to wear to SOTY, so I wore that strange pink thing. Also, given the circumstances, it's better I didn't wear this on Friday, could have been awk. You're fucken lucky Julio, I was tired & didn't even want to go out on a damn Monday!
Step 2: Perfect Hair? Check.
Step 3: Find the birthday boy.
Step 4: Run into people you know, like Lockwood here! First rate lad.
Step 5: Get the girls to double dutch in the bathroom with DIY paper towel ropes (video coming soon)
Step 6: Have some the weirdest, most nonsensical BS happen
Step 7: Sit around in a cold ass room with some stupid ass chick that won't shut up for a billion hours. Then get yo shit back. 17 BUCKS?! Damn I'm brizzoke.
Also - got the painting I bought from JCoops for my roommate... it's a pigeon with a can of Colt45. Hot.
i can't even eat today, i'm so sick of swallowing. keep your love locked down. i want to pick it apart and churn and churn until the shards of glass tear through the lining of my stomach. would you please clap your hands...
The Bird & The Bee - Polite Dance Song
SFO - 7AM - HAVE A NICE FLIGHT
Hotel Services Directory: "OH HAY PS, THERE'S A FAT TUESDAY'S ON THE 2ND FLOOR MEZZAZNINE. OPENS 9AM" extra shots are a dollar, make your choice: that's 100 pulls on a penny slot or one fantastic morning
Well I don't know why I came here tonight, I got the feeling that something ain't right, I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair, And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs, Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right, here I am, Stuck in the middle with you.
Hold My Drink

My auntie is cute. I have a liberty hat. Life is good.
Blondes have more split ends
OAKLAND - CA - RAWR!
Sexy Tiger Cobra Party
Made it into SF - BARELY on time for a bday dinner. Sangria is love. Everything is warm and happy. Was too tired to stick around for another bday function - Jess was still in Oakland with everyone and no one was headed to DNA for a little bit. Tried to find her BF at OnSix to drop off her gift but I was fading fasssst...

She's Cracked commented on Erik Braggadocio's photo "now ya just look like a damn hobo jesus." Erik Braggadocio wrote "that makes you a jahobo's witness"
That cracked me up for days. I need to get some sleep. The gym wore me out tonight.
YES - found my Cal ID. Now that all the movie theaters got rid of student prices. LOL. I got a good 2 years' use out of this thing after graduation, though. Heheh...
Oh Google street view! This is where I lived from 1985 - 1995? 96? 97? After we moved from 40th & Noriega; Up until we moved to Daly Shitty for a minute and then to my step dad's house. It makes me feel all kinds of weird to see the neighborhood now... Dino's is still there (across the street) thank god. I never knew the front of the building was so fuckin ugly because there used to be a huge tree that came up to my windows. It was pretty rad waking up at 4am every summer to the sounds of setting up the Fillmore Street Fair. Like WTF you need a goddamn jackhammer for? SRSLY.
On the opposite corner was a 24hour donut shop where all the crackheads hung out when they weren't busy sleeping or pissing in our doorway. This intersection was not real, uh, sound proof. A couple of the nicer bums were also schitzophrenic, so you can imagine what types of ambient noise we normally fell asleep to.
The new Paris' BFF is not available yet, damn you internet! So I've been watching the backlog of 50 Cent: The Money and The Power. Cornbreadd? WTF name is that?? He mumbles like John Tuturro in Oh Brother Where Art Thou? Guess... I gotta have something since G's to Gents ended, no? Fuck I hate TV. Thank god I don't actually have cable. I'd never get anything done.
Rebecca fixed the back of my hair today. Growing it out feels like it's taking foreeever... I can't wait for it to get long again... Then after that I got some 12g steel spirals. I moved the 14g talons to the top holes and put the spirals in the middle holes. I had thought trying to shove a 12g through a 16g hole would hurt. It was freakishly easy. Dee said I don't need to come see her unless it actually hurts. Pushing bigger and bigger metal through your skin and watching it come out the other side is definitely... interesting... I don't plan on going any bigger than this though; guaged ears are not my thing...
Finally got back from the East Bay around 4, didn't go to the Atlas thing. Whatevs. Returned some shit to Target. Sounds so... domestic. Ew hahah. Opted not to go to Bootie tonight. Bout to watch Freeway and then maybe the Joe Strummer documentary. Watching movies isn't as awesome alone. I've got lots of wine bottles to make empty of. *Sigh*
Matt made more prints, I got a copy of this one:
This one's 16x20 - it's more of a fuscia/magenta than this red but it came out kinda neat. There's doubles of some other ones. I'm gonna get a couple more printed that I liked and some for Ayla's puppy-modeling fee. Hahaaha.
Tomorrow is likely priming and painting some furniture... Unpacking and organizing the rest of everything. I dunno... what else are Sundays for... Oh yeah I have tons of laundry to do... and convincing my dad to ride ATVs with me while we're in Vegas. Nothing much else to write about. Gotta install 10.5 on my computer *finally* and get ahold of CS3 or 4.
Matt developed the rolls from last Saturday and made a couple prints for the shit he has to turn in... We're gonna make some huge prints and fuck with them more. He cross-processed the b&w into a lovely shade of like, zombie purple and freaky alien green. HELLA green. Anyway here's what we have to look thru...
Natoma. My friend's Caprice = old squad car. Vroom Vrrrrooommmmmmmmmzzz....
Natoma (right column is the end of Megan's roll, not mine)
How to properly get mauled by a dog, fall off a couch, and wear a lamp-hat
apparently this is one of the things on top of the hotel i'm staying in for the vegas trip... ummm... anything that involves anything called "Launch Position 2" that's 1000ft+ above the strip - ummmm.... YES!
I just shoved a 14 through my 16. It was surprisingly easy. Now if I could only get the ball off on the other side. I'm not quite sure why one always ends up on your floor and the other is impossible to remove.
Got my Dolce & Gabanna frames replaced. I finally got my bed up from the garage. Need to get mounting hardware for the decks / paintings / photos. Got another offer on Black Luck & Trouble (v2). Still not likely, I like having it. That, and Shut The Fuck Up are staying around a while. Douche Force One left this room so fucking dirty. There's messy, and then there's dirty. How do you pass all your shit to become a cop and yet not know how to operate a fucking VACUUM CLEANER!? Windex, maybe? Waaaaaang!
So anyway. Lots of sake and sushi later... I guess today was productive.
