Friday...
Got Mr. Stevens from the beautiful, scenic HP / Bayview. FTC dudes DJing & some auxiliary personnel at Mighty. Couldn't forget to pick up this dude at Zeitgeist - then headed over to the event. Yeah Freddy! Saint Patrick's day party or something, but it was neither Saint Patricks day-ish, nor Party-like. It was just kind of hanging out at a bar with good DJs. What's up 8 Eyes? And the "official version" -
Bounced from that party pretty early though, it was a long week and I just wanted to sleep. Dropped in at the Howard Street manor and chilled with two of my favorite puppies Sancho and Ayla.
Saturday... I woke up on the couch with Ayla and some bacon and coffee and eggs and Saturday Night Fever. Cigarette? Stupid bitch. Then I headed over to the Bayview Estate - Time for the 11th Annual Brides of March! Just Google that, I don't have the energy to explain (neither do any of the many street vendors that are barraged with puzzled tourists all day - I would hate to have to work in public service in Union Square on this day, too). It's San Francisco, wedding dresses, and bars. That's all you really need to know. Mara's fantastic Death Becomes Her / Delta Burke / Elizabeth Taylor steez. $1350, purchased for $10. Start the day off at Tunnel Top. These two are clearly not making out...? Union Square turns into some madness for a couple hours while press and hobby photographers get their photo on. It was a little overwhelming. The dude in blue is a world class douche bag. If you see him on the street, punch him in the face. Kudos retard. This lovely lady (I forget her name) is a pinup photographer, and the fabulous DiVinyl is a professional dominatrix from Kentucky. Both very sweet, friends Rich introduced me to. Mara's husband & our protector, Nate! and of course, The Juicebox. Gold Dust had already banned people by the time the crowed even started moving across the street, so everyone headed to Lefty O'Get The F Outta Here. I actually felt kind of bad for the families that were in there having dinner and stuff, with drunk crazies stumbling all over their elders' wheel chairs and their kids' baby strollers. It was kind of awkward? ... Got too crowded too so a group of us all went back to Tunnel Top before anyone was the wiser. Elise (Joe's wife), Rich, and their friend Brooke. Rich has his own brand of condoms! The packaging is super cool, I didn't know you could even do that! I don't have a photo of Joe, or Richie's lady Cheri. So good to run into you guys though! Basically, Joe Rich and Cherie all worked at the same publishing co my mom did, except on different magazines. So when I started working there, I had very good bad influences :) Rich's story of the day: Sneaking me into the End Up when I was 11, and the aftermath. Headed over to the Hill to finish our Saturday as per tradition. Nate and I got in a non-fight, which looked like we DID get in a fight, because we both ended up knocking over a couple bar stools and falling all over the place. STUPID! Haha. Played some pool, got awesome hugs from Crushhhh, then went back to the ghetto mansion to hang out. Nate & Mara headed back to Sac. Sunday... woke up, did the Sunday Morning Recovery program, watched Death Proof, then I pulled up Vanishing Point to watch so Rosie could see what they meant by the Challenger comment in Death Proof. Got home a little while ago. I was watching Bullitt earlier but I'll just watch it again later. I'm super tired and forgot to update all this until now so... Tomorrow is Monday. BOOO... Also, now I have Boom Boom Pow stuck in my head. I'm so 3008 you're so 2000 & LATE.
